Your choice depends on requirements of the application that will open the file. A Photoshop Raw image is not in the same file format as a camera raw image file from a digital camera.

BMP is a standard Windows image format on Windows-compatible computers. BMP images are normally written bottom to top; however, you can select the Flip Row Order option to write them from top to bottom.
